Is massage therapy covered by health insurance?

Yes, massage therapy is covered by many work insurance programs and private extended health benefits programs. Some plans have full coverage. You may find the details of your coverage through your private insurance websites, or simply call their customer support line.

Do you offer direct billing?

Yes, at Lily Massage Clinic Scarborough, we do offer direct billing for select insurance companies, call us at any time for more information on direct billing.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No, you do not need a doctor’s referral to see an RMT. However, some extended health benefits may require a referral for your massage Scarborough treatment to be covered. Requirements for reimbursement can be checked in your insurance policy.

What forms of payment do you accepted?

At Lily Massage Clinic, we accept payment via cash, debit card, VISA, MasterCard, and direct billing. An receipt can be issue for you to submit to your extended health insurance plan if direct billing is not available.

What should I expect on my first visit?

At massage Scarborough, you will be required to fill out a confidential health history form. Please provide as many details on the form as it paints an accurate picture of your health conditions and possible injuries. This will allow RMTs at massage Scarborough to develop a treatment plan that most benefits your health.

CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW POLICY

Your business is valued, and your cooperation is appreciated. We are making a commitment to you to guarantee your appointment time and refusing all other requests once you have made the appointment.

When you book an appointment, that time is set aside for you, and missed appointments prevent us from accommodating other clients. Please understand that therapists only get paid when they deliver a service.
24-hour notice is required for all cancellations.

Payment in full will be required for late cancellations or “no-shows” unless:

  • the appointment can be filled
  • Unforeseen last-minute cancellation, fees are determined by the Massage Therapists and/or Clinic management discretion.
  • COVID-19 cancellations due to symptoms or exposure are cancelled without question, rebooking will require 14-days or negative testing.
    • An appointment may be cancelled by either Lily Massage Clinic or guest if symptoms are present, a parent is attending to a child with symptoms or care taking requirements due to COVID.
